Letter to All Parents - Our district has made available two anonymous report helplines. The first is the "Safe School Helpline" and the other is "Safe2Say Something". Please click here on the link to read more.

The Central PA Institute of Science and Technology is pleased to offer its students and community access to the Safe School Helpline.  We recognize the need to reach out when you witness a troubling situation or simply need someone to listen.  Please feel free to access the helpline at any time.

SAFE SCHOOL HELPLINE
If you see something, say something! The Safe School Helpline is a convenient, confidential way for anyone to report information about situations that might affect safety at our school. You can call the number any time of the day or night to report concerns about unsafe or potentially disruptive activities or situations including drug or alcohol abuse, weapons, harassment, bullying or threats. All calls are completely confidential.

SAFE2SAY Helpline
(active beginning 1/14/19)
CPI in conjunction with the Commonwealth of PA, also offers a second helpline - the Safe2Say Something helpline through the Safe2Say Program .

This program, which is mandated under PA law / Act 44, teaches students, teachers, and administrators how to recognize warning signs and signals, especially within social media, of individuals who may be a threat to themselves or others and Say Something to a trusted adult OR use its anonymous reporting system. Specifically, the program educates participants to:
Recognize the signs and signals of at-risk behaviors – especially within social media
Take every sign and signal seriously; act quickly to get help by talking to a trusted adult OR
Report it anonymously through the S2SS Office of the Attorney General 24/7 Crisis Center, mobile app, or website
Respond to and manage the submitted tip via a school-based multi-disciplinary educator and administrator teams
