CPI & ABC host job fair

CPI, in partnership with the Associated Builders & Contractors, hosted a mini job fair for students enrolled in the post-secondary Heavy Equipment, CDL, and Diesel Technology Programs.

R.W. Beckett Class

CPI will once again be hosting R.W. Beckett oil burner training for the industry on March 27th, 28th, and 29th in the CPI HVAC lab.

Plans to Build Transportation Center Move Forward

CPI is now offering a Natural Gas Plant Operations course through its online partner - Gatlin Education Services. This new training program teaches students to monitor and control the systems and equipment that take gas from its natural state and convert it into a useable product.

The 2010 Industry Competency Exam (ICE) test scores are in for CPI's Adult Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Program (HVAC) - CPI's adult HVAC students beat the national average by 37%!

Auto Tech Instructor Completes Toyota Training

Mr. Doug Stimely, CPI's Automotive Technology Instructor, recently completed Toyota's Advanced Electrical Diagnosis Class held at Toyota University in Maryland. Mr. Stimely was the only Pennsylvania Automotive Technology Instructor to complete Toyota's advanced training program.

CPI Students Team to Win Deck Building Contest

CPI Awarded Equipment Grant

CPI has been awarded fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) through a competitive Equipment Grant application offered by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Funds from this grant award will go towards hydraulics, pneumatics, fluid power, and electrical trainers.

Bobcat added to Heavy Equipment fleet

Collision Repair Program Receives Donation

New Class B International Added to Fleet

CPI recently received delivery of a late model used International flatbed dump with crew cab. The truck is an automatic transmission CDL Class B vehicle, convertible to CDL Class A with the addition of a 10,001 lb. trailer. more >>>

Post-Secondary Dental Assistant Program Receives DANB Approval

CPI's post-secondary Dental Assistant Program has been approved by the Dental Assistant National Board, Inc. (DANB) for its CDA/GC Exam Pilot Pathway study.

Forklift Purchased for Public Safety Facility

Trackloader and Backhoe Purchased for HEO Program

CPI added to its fleet of equipment in the Heavy Equipment Operations and Diesel Repair Technology Programs through the purchase of a Liebherr 622 B crawler loader and a Case 580 SM Series 2 backhoe.
