The Mobile Supervisor position leads and supports a team of Donor Specialists (phlebotomists) at assigned mobile collection sites. They develop working relationships with blood drive Chairpersons to assess blood drive operations; assign staff responsibilities; complete required paperwork; monitor staff performance; provide back-up support for screening and phlebotomy; serve as coach and consultant where needed to maintain high levels of quality and customer service. Responsible for daily on-site management of an assigned Mobile Unit or Community Donor Center collection activities. Functions in a leadership role providing staff with guidance and direction to ensure technical compliance with CBBs Standard Operating Procedures and regulatory agencies. Provides staff with coaching, counseling and discipline regarding performance issues. Maintains technical skills in all aspect of donor processing. Supports the philosophy, goals and objectives of CBB. HS education plus post-secondary education as an RN, LPN, MA, MT, or EMT or related healthcare major. Strong phlebotomy skills and a broad understanding of medical terminology and disease process. At least 1 year of previous management experience. 2+ years experience in blood collections. Demonstrated leadership ability. Able to evaluate effectiveness of problem resolution.
