Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)
Centre Crest currently has openings for CNAs. A CNA at Centre Crest has the following job responsibilities: * Performs routine patient care duties, i.e., weighing and measuring patients, taking and recording temperatures, collecting specimens and observing and reporting patients' conditions. * Serves food trays to patients; assists in feeding patients who cannot feed themselves. * Fills water pitchers. * Bathes and dresses patients and attends to their physical needs, while offering emotional support. * Assists in transporting patients to/from other rooms, locations, and in getting patients in/out of bed, chairs, etc. * Assists with toileting needs according to individualized B&B program. Prepares patients for therapy, recreational activities. * Reports any changes in resident to supervisor or records in chart as required. * Performs daily documentation of intake/outtake, restraints or other required documentation records. * Maintains linen carts and assures that all supplies are placed in their proper locations and rooms and areas are safe and clean. * Participates in Restorative Nursing Program. * Administers non-prescription treatment under the supervision of the LPN.
