Mechanic - Public Works
State College Borough has a full-time mechanic position available. Candidates must have a high school diploma or its equivalent, including technical training as a mechanic, should be a generalist in maintenance, diagnosis and repair, and all related fleet services for a variety of vehicles and equipment and be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Applicants must possess a valid PA inspection license, emissions certification, PA CDL with tanker endorsement and without air brake restriction or obtain licenses within 6 months of employment. Applicants must be available for evening, weekend, and emergency work. Hourly rate is $20.63 plus excellent benefits.
