The Bucktail Medical Center (formerly Renovo Hospital) is a non-profit corporation, located in North Central, Pennsylvania. The Medical Center is nestled in a small valley along the west branch of the Susquehanna River in the town of Renovo. The facility serves a rural area of approximately 250 square miles. The town and outlying communities have a population of approximately 2,500 and is surrounded by the largest state forest land in Pennsylvania. The Medical Center is a 64 bed facility comprised of twenty-one (21) Critical Access Hospital/Swing beds and forty-three (43) Skilled Nursing beds. The facility also offers a full service Emergency Room 24 hours a day, seven days a week and a Community Clinic, which is staffed with a Board Certified Family Practice Physician. In addition, the facility also has Laboratory, Radiology, Ambulance, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech Therapy Departments.
